Looking to hire : 1 Associate for the Mumbai Office. The work is a mix of advisory and some dispute resolution with more of the former than the latter. Our matters are primarily on the civil side.
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled with BCMG
- Prior work experience: 0-1 years
- Atleast conversational in Marathi
- Advanced/fluent in English – able to read and understand most judgments.
- Must have read atleast a few judgments fully (not summaries).
- Ready to start immediately.
Responsibilities (indicative):
- Legal Research
- Drafting/filing
- Appearing in courts/tribunals (very occasionally)
- Visiting court offices to obtain information/clarifications
