Looking to hire: Senior Counsel for Global Employment Law Team
Mode: Remote
Responsibilities:
- To identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within the labour and employment area and advise accordingly.
- To assist with detailed research on labour and employment practices across various regions globally and provide advisory by analyzing local prevailing laws.
- To keep a track on ever changing labour and employment laws across different regions and ensuring periodic updates to the team of such changes by analyzing their impact on Commvault.
- To assist with and handle legal matters and projects ranging from basic to complex.
- To educate clients and stakeholders on legal matters, policies and procedures.
- To advocate Commvault’s interests in assigned matters.
- To establish and maintain relationships, credibility and trust with clients, stakeholders, legal team members and other colleagues.
- To support the Human Resources department with updating policies and drafting new policies and keeping the team apprised of new law related to our policies and relevant employment law.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Must have around 4 (four) to 5 (five) years’ of PQE in Labour and Employment Law with a corporate legal department or a recognized law firm.
- Must be open to individual learning and development.
- Committed to being a legal business partner to internal clients.
- Global labour and employment legal practice exposure is a plus.
