Looking to hire: Senior Associate
Team: M&A & Litigation (Direct Tax)
PQE: 4 to 6 years of experience
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) & LL.B from a premium law school.
- Proven exposure to to direct tax litigation & M&A transaction.
- Strong working knowledge of direct tax laws & corporate legal provisions is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on various direct tax and corporate law matters.
- Draft submissions, appeals, and handling assessment/appellant proceedings.
- Prepare detail presentations outlining various structuring options for clients.
- Draft legal opinions and advisory notes on complex and contemporary direct tax issues.
- Ensuring high quality of drafting of documentation for M&A litigation related matters.
- Proficiency in MS-Office, with a strong focus on PowerPoint for preparing impactful client presentation.
