Team: Corporate Advisory team
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate documents, contracts, agreements, and advisory notes.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research on company law, securities law, FEMA, competition law, and other applicable regulations.
- Support in carrying out due diligence exercises for mergers, acquisitions, investments, and corporate restructuring.
- Prepare client deliverables such as reports, memorandums, presentations, and transaction documents.
- Participate in client meetings, take notes, and assist in follow-up actions.
- Track regulatory changes and prepare periodic updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders as required.
- Maintain organized documentation and assist in knowledge management initiatives.
Requirements:
- LL.B. (3-year/5-year course) from a recognized university; candidates awaiting final results may also apply.
- Candidates with a Company Secretary (CS) qualification (or pursuing CS) will be preferred.
- Strong academic background and understanding of corporate and commercial laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good research and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under supervision.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative approach.
