Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi for a Legal Associate at Quad Law Associates. As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for conducting thorough legal research, briefing seniors, drafting pleadings / legal documents, reviewing contracts, providing legal advice and appearing in Courts (SC, HC and various District Courts in Delhi). The ideal candidate would also have an interest in public policy related issues and willing to carry out research in specific areas within this practice. You will report to the Founding Partners and are expected to be a self starter, driven and motivated, looking to learn and grow in the field of litigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in litigation in Delhi including drafting, appearing in Court, carrying out -depth legal research
- Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and review contracts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional and collaborative teams, as well as independently
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and meet deadlines effectively
- Experience with or knowledge of Indian laws and legal systems
- Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Proficient in using online tools for making presentations, designing articles, etc.
