Singhania & Co. is looking for an experienced (having PQE of 2-3 years) Corporate and M&A Associate/ Senior Associate to join their NCR team.
The candidate will be working on various aspects of corporate law, such as foreign investment, joint venture, mergers and acquisitions, tax, and corporate governance. The candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating various contracts and other transactional documents as well as conducting general and legal research and drafting well-written memorandums.
Working knowledge in laws related to FEMA, Company Law, JV, Tax, M&A preferred. This is a full-time on-site role, located in Gurugram NCR.

Job Description:
- Assisting in providing structuring options from a tax and regulatory perspective
- Analyzing the various capital instruments and suggesting the best instrument which would suit the business requirements
- Drafting agreements (share purchase agreements, subscription agreements, trust deeds, business transfer agreements, asset sale/purchase agreements, etc)
- Researching and scrutinizing all aspects of the assignment with the team to ideate and provide optimal solution
- Regularly updating knowledge management databases with new updates. Sharing industry updates with the team
- Consistently performing and taking ownership of all assigned projects
- Keeping supervisors apprised of project status and scheduling issues on a timely basis
- Drafting and preparing proposals and pitch presentations
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships and demonstrating effective communication skills with client personnel at appropriate levels
